. We are hiring an General Labourer-Paint to join our Team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material.
• Assist Blasters, Painters or other tradespeople on-site.
• Handle and transport materials and equipment (e.g. spray guns & hoses).
• Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks (e.g. stacking up goods).
• Put up warning signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and passersby.
• Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (e.g. scaffolding).
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.
• Ensures housekeeping is completed daily in assigned area.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor or shop foreman.
• Complies with standards and procedures of PTW's health and safety manual and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up 
  to 40 pounds etc.).
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus.
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be approachable and maintain a positive attitude.
• Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessary
• Possesses solid understanding of welding equipment and welding accessories.
• Commitment to safety rule

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Must have own transportation as facility is not accessible by public transportation. 
• Must have CSA approved safety boots
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
