We are hiring a Sandblaster to join our Team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Sandblasts structural steel
• Clean and prepare skids and material for painting 
• Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment 
• Move fabricated materials to designated areas
• Perform daily maintenance and minor repairs on equipment 
• Clean skids and material for shipping
• Inspect final product, ensuring conformance to specifications
• Ensures housekeeping is completed in daily assigned area. 
• Comply with standards and procedures of the PTW health and safety manual and Occupational Health and Safety regulation

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years' experience sandblasting and/or painting in an industrial capacity. 
• Knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques and equipment.
• Understanding of surface preparation standards.
• Ability to read work instructions and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good physical fitness and manual dexterity
• Awareness of workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must have CSA approved safety boots.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation.
